Happy Christmas to all christen round the world & Specially in Sudan May be most of the people they think Sudan is Muslim Country…. or after the separation between North Sudan and South and South Sudan became The Republic of South Sudan as Country by itself, that mean no more christen in Sudan.

The Fact the Muslim Publication in Sudan as in total %75 of all nation before separation 20% Are Christianize and 5% none of both they have their own believes.
Even though the Sudan divided but still there are some christen in most of all cities most of them are not Sudanese generation like Aegyptos (الاقباط) they immigrant to Sudan long time ago and settle there and still they are christen ,they have their own church plus the christen from Nubs Mountain and some other Areas
In Sudan they have 3 day Holidays during Christmas time I still I remember Dec24 the official Holliday in Sudan they celebrate their religious time peacefully and we respect them fully.
I believe we used to live in Harmony (Muslim & Christine), but some time political play dirty game make some things up there and here, now am not sure how it will be after this separation.
Still I remember they dance sings. backing , wear nice dress I never felt they have been less than us as Muslim in my own view ....., as I used to travel a lot with my dad.
I mean not just the life on the capital Khartoum we used to live on all the east of Sudan as well the center of Sudan …today I would like to congratulate all of you and say Marry Christmas Happy Christmas

I used to remember beautiful girl from Sholuck tribe from south Sudan she was my colleege at that time “ Sharty Joseph Tong “ in High school in Kassala High School she is descent girl I never met she has very strong believe in Jesus and she know every things she.about Islam as well ...every day she used to wake up every day very early to do do her prayers and i believe she is “study lahoud” Ministry school of Christianity to be sister in god am not sure where is she Now .

I remember ……during Christmas time she give all of us gift instate of give her .....and she used to tell us about what Christianity mean and what or who is Jesus and am as Muslim I never take it in wrong way ,we respect each other ....we lived in one room each one of us has their Holly book my Qur'an and she has the Bible …

And live in Canada now I did learn a lot how people with different believe can work and live every day life and became more closer ....

what I meant to tell with all of this no matter what is your believe you must respect each other even the Canadian system respects your believes no matter what is your belief the quality as human beginning is more importance..

I hope one day i well meat my friend to tell her so many

Spirituality: St. Josephine Bakhita and the Door to Holines

February 8 is the feast day of St. Josephine Bakhita, the patron saint of Sudan and a powerful intercessor on behalf of the persecuted Sudanese Christians. On the WOF blog, Rozann Carter reflects on St. Josephine's story, a saint whose great holiness was cultivated in her exuberant love and humble simplicity.

Today, the Church honors St. Josephine Bakhita (1869-1947), a Sudanese woman who was sold into brutal and abusive slavery as a young girl in the Darfur region of Africa, eventually transported to Italy to work for a friend of her owner’s family, and, when she resisted returning to Africa in favor of joining the religious order who taught the young daughter of the family for whom she worked, was set free because of the dictates of Italian law. After professing eternal vows, she lived out the remainder of her life as a Canossian Sister of the Institute of Catechumens in Venice, Italy.

St. Josephine was canonized by Pope John Paul II in 2000 and is recognized as the patron saint of Sudan.

According to the existing accounts of her life, there are two prominent bits of biographical history that are attributed to St. Josephine. One is this beautiful quotation: “Be good, love the Lord, pray for those who do not know him. What a great grace it is to know God!” The other is that, amongst the Canossian Sisters in Venice, St. Josephine’s mission was carried out in the services of “cooking, sewing, embroidery and attending the door"...
